I have an idea for an RP that I have done a few times on different sites but it's always seemed to have died. Hopefully it won't here and someone will take interest.
First a bit about me: I have the next five weeks off work for the most part (a bit of cleaning and a day or two work here and there, possibly) but for the majority of the day I will be free to post. I'm not looking for someone that has to be around all day to post with me, but I'd be happy if they were - realistically I know real life comes first so one post a day is also fine with me, just let me know through PM if you can't!
I like story and details. I'm not expecting novels to be written, but 3-4 paragraphs would be nice where possible - of course conversation shortens this. I just don't want one liners, I find that I start to get bored then when I'm not challenged with stories or character depths. And please, no text talk! I love people that can plot with me. And I'm also looking for multiple characters to be played. In this idea, I'd be playing the main girl and her brother. And I'm looking for someone to play her fiance and her childhood crush. Of course their are other character opportunities to play, but I'd want the two main characters played. More is explained below:
And now, onto the idea.
Ryleigh Anderson (my character) and her brother (Robbie Anderson) have know X (your character - A) forever. He was Robbie's best friend from kindergarten. They grew up together always getting themselves into trouble but having fun in the process. By the time the boys got to their teenage years (18), X and Ryleigh flirted endlessly. Problem was, Ryleigh did really like him more than what she was letting on, and because of her brother, X wasn't telling Ryleigh that his feelings were returned.
And the boys kept getting into mischief and trouble and going down the wrong path - though nothing bad like drugs or crimes, just stupid things. They'd finished school and weren't really going anywhere, didn't have jobs or anything like that. Then one day X just disappeared without a word. Robbie hated him for that and Ryleigh thought it was her fault that he'd disappeared. The night before X had disappeared, she'd written him a note that said all her true feelings. What she didn't know is that he'd never gotten it.
That was when X and Robbie were 20 and Ryleigh was 17. Skip a few years and Ryleigh is now 22 and Robbie 25. Finally having gotten over her heartache at 20, Ryleigh met David (your other character; name can be changed). He's a posh and wealthy person from England, the complete opposite to the typical American, smalltown girl that Ryleigh is. They're complete opposites and Robbie hates him. But some how Ryleigh still dated him and fell in love with him. And now David has called their family and friends to Ryleigh's house to propose to her.
Just as X returns after five years in the military (either out because of injury, on leave etc etc). He turns up at their house just in time to see the girl he still loves getting proposed to. And just after Ryleigh's said yes - she sees X.
So, what happens? Does Ryleigh stay with David and forget about her love for X? Does her brother forgive him for leaving and get their friendship back?
We decide what happens! :D
